Special 'A' Series Mini Owners Group

We welcome all minis and mini variants and endeavour to keep the small cars going by whatever means possible.

SASMOG started out as a group of friends who'd met via the show circuit and ended up travelling to shows together, lending each other a hand on projects and giving advice. At every show we attended we were always asked what club we were, largely because it was always the same people together and we have quite a varied range of Minis that draw a bit of attention.
So on August 4th 2007 we decided to form a club and make our status official, hence SASMOG was born, the badge was quickly drawn up and agreed upon by the founding members and now we are often recognised at shows.

We already have quite a variety of different minis in the club but will always welcome new members. Most of our members have some degree of knowledge about the cars and all are willing to lend a hand or offer some advice when you're in need of help.
As a club we try to meet up as often as we can, we don't only attend mini shows as we like to display our cars at Classic and Custom cars shows aswell. Something we pride ourselves on is that we aren't cliquey, you can come to as many or as few events , meetings , cruises as you like and no-one will make you feel unwanted.

Our aim has always been to keep the club on a friendly and sociable level without arguments or a hierachy, no heirachy means, no competition and everyone in the club gets a say.

The group organisation is based in Ashington West Sussex but we have members from all over Sussex including Hastings, Crawley and Littlehampton to name but a few.

Membership is only £5 per year and that includes a SASMOG website sticker for your windscreen and does come with additional benefits as follows:
